El Nino Pinot Grigio King Valley

Encouraged by the success of our first two Pinot Grigio releases, we have sourced another parcel of premium fruit to produce only our third release of this variety.

Vintage conditions: The  growing season began wet and cool but soon developed into a typical Australian summer. Hot and dry conditions took over, grapes ripened easily and the resulting wines are full of flavour and richness.

Winemaking Harvested in the cool night and transported to the winery for immediate processing. A short period of skin contact allowed the natural expression of flavour and colour that are features of the variety. The juice was settled overnight and fermented in tank at low temperatures to retain fruit freshness.

Tasting comments: A lifted bouquet and rich layered palate of nashi pear, floral and musk flavours are supported by the clean acid finish. Best served chilled.
