REGION NOTES: HEATHCOTE VICTORIA The central Victorian region of Heathcote is renowned for its compelling Shiraz wines – the variety as dominant in plantings as it is distinctive in style. James Halliday describes it as “mouthfilling and mouth-coating, densely coloured and richly flavoured, its texture akin to a great tapestry, helping to highlight its multi-faceted taste.

WINEMAKING NOTES Was a lovely balanced vintage delivering good crop loads with fantastic colour & flavour. This is a blend of several different parcels of fruit from different blocks across Heathcote, fermented on skins in a combination of open & closed fermenters and matured in French oak for 12 months, giving the wine a great balance of fruit weight, oak integration & fine supple tannins. Will age well until at least 2026.
TASTING NOTE A perfumed, floral Shiraz, supple fruited, finely textured, with softy ripe tannins and gentle French oak character.
